Dunclug Partnership are the lead partner in what promises to be one of the best open air concerts staged in Ballymena. The venue on Saturday 6 August is the beautiful Peoples Park Ballymena.the day commences at 1p.m and lasts to 5 p.m. The Chevys showband will be live on stage at 3 p.m and local group Bar Room Buddies will be making an appearance.The fantastic I.J.S dance team along with Irish Dancers will also be performing.There will be fun for all the children with party King providing slides and assault courses plus face painting and balloon modelling.A pet show will also be taking place and marquees will contain information on local community groups as well as as foodstalls.

Admission to the event is free as funding has been obtained so far from Awards For All Big Lottery,Ballymena Borough Council Community Festival Grants and hopefully funding from Community Relations Council.

The event promises to be a real spectacular and a great day for families. SO WHY NOT COME OUT AND SUPPORT  PEACE IN THE PARK
