Yes folks it is that time of the year again and this year Rev.Darran Mccorriston invites you to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at Ballyloughan church Doury Road Ballymena on 15 December at 7 p.m.
Hear the joint choirs of Dunclug primary and St.Brigids.
After the short service you are invited to Dunclug Community Centre for tea/coffee and yes your mince pie.

At the management committee meeting of the Dunclug Partnership held on 24 August 2011 P.J McAvoy was elected as chairperson of the Dunclug Partnership and replaces Howard Bailey who is leaving Ballymena to work in Brazil for his employers Michelin Tyre Company.

Five teams from the Dunclug estates were entered into the community its a knockout competition and in the Ballymena North category a team from Dunclug won their section.However in the final on 5 July on a very wet night the Dunclug team were beaten by a team from Galgorm.

On 8 July a team of local residents took to the streets in Dunclug to clear the streets of litter.The participants are to be congratulated and this followed a clean up at Easter.Colum Best project manager with the Dunclug Partnership stated “it is good to see local residents taking pride in their community” photographs show some of the typical tidy up work that was achieved on the day.

A spectacular community family funday is being held on the 6 August 2011 in the Peoples Park Ballymena.Dunclug Partnership have secured funding to host in conjunction with other groups who were part of the Messines experience what promises to be a really enjoyable day for all the family.Dunclug Partnership are grateful to Community Festivals Grant [...]

The Dunclug Summer Scheme will be held from 25 July to 19 August 2011 and will contain a host of excellent opportunities for the youth of the area . Registration for the scheme will take place on 22 July at 6 p.m. in the Dunclug Community Centre .Cost per child for the two week programe [...]

On 5 July 2011 Good Morning Ballymena will be hosting a country and western concert in the All Saints Parish centre Ballymena commencing at 7.30 p.m
Tony Kerr,Eugene O’Dornan and Moira Crawley will be performing.
Admissin is free by ticket only.

Dunclug Partnership secured part funding from Good Relations Unit Ballymena Borough Council to purchase a perputal trophy and medals to enable them to initiate an annual soccer competition.The iidea came from Kevin McCrudden chairperson of Residents Association and Dunclug Youth Forum.
The idea is in the first year for a community team to challenge the established North End Football club.
In future years the idea would be to extend invitations to othe community teams to engage to build on positive relationships.

Dunclug Partnership with funding from Lloyds T.S.B held a very successful country gospel concert in Ballyloughan Church on 7 June 2011.A capacity crowd turned up to hear excellent music and singing from some of Irelands renowned artists.
The line up included Tony Kerr,Eugene O’Dornan,Angela McAllister,Moira Crawley and Emma O’Dornan with musicians Chris Dallat and Stanley Carson backing . On the night a voluntary donation of £819 was collected to be presented to the N.Ireland Childrens Hospice.
Comments from ones leaving the concert at the end of the night were “best concert they had ever ben at”
Dunclug Partnership will be helping Good Morning Ballymena organise a country and western concert to be held in All Saints Parish Centre on 5 July 2011.Details of this concert will be available nearer the time.
