Welcome to The Ballymena North Business & Recreation Centre’s web page
Below you will find information about the centre, the activities available as well as the services we provide for both the local and business community.
The centre opened on the 15th September 2006 as a direct result of a community audit that highlighted the need to improve the social, economic and environmental aspects of the Dunclug area.
The centre hosts a sports hall, meeting rooms, office space, business units and a dedicated childcare facility. The centre benefits over 1000 households in the Dunclug area but also welcomes usage from much further afield.
The Sports Hall *** 4 court badminton hall***
The hall is available to hire for the following activities,
Football Basketball Netball Badminton
Indoor Bowls Irish Dancing Ju Jitsu Karate
Birthday Parties And much more….
The hall is also available to hire for large events or concerts and can seat up to 1200 people.

Meeting Rooms
The meeting rooms provide a pleasant and professional environment to host meetings, training courses, small conferences and exhibitions.
- 2 Rooms available with seating for up to 60 people.
- Full range of equipment available including screens, data projector, TV/Video/DVD, internet access and flipcharts.
- Tea/Coffee facilities available – outside catering services also available.
- Free car parking.
Business Units/Office Space
The Ballymena North Partnership Ltd own and manages a portfolio of approximately 8,500 sq ft of business space, suitable for small to medium sized enterprises.
