Local football players from the Dunclug area appreciate the use of the fantastic sports hall at Ballymena North Business and Recreation complex.The funding is provided for the venue by Dunclug Partnership through the Big Lottery Awards for All.Each week different groups will have access to the venue for training purposes .The project is managed by Kevin McCrudden a member of the Dunclug Partnership

As part of the Cultural Connections PEACE 3 project eleven young people from Dunclug travelled to the border lying county of Sligo to meet with a group of teenagers which whom they are developing a joint exhibition incorporating objects from Mid antrim museum at the Braid and paintings from the Model’s collections.This project will enable the young people to learn more about each others backgrounds and identities while producing a unique exhibition combining museum objects with Irish visual art.This exhibition will be displayed in both the Model and The Braid from Spring 2012.
During their visit to Sligo Dunclug’s youth visited some of the sites painted by artist Jack B.Yeats such as” the metal man” at Rosses point and the beach at Strandhill and later that day also viewed “OUTSIDER” THE Yeats exhibition currently running at the Model.In addition to this they also visited the Model collectiond stores where they viewed many priceless paintings not on disolay.With the help of artist Andy Pearson’s Dunclug and Sligo youth rounded off their day at the Model working on the development of their exhibition which they will continue to do over the coming months.

Dunclug Partnership and Good Morning Ballymena co funded a cross community senior citizens table quiz held in All Saints Parish Centre on Monday 14 February 2011.Over 65 persons attended the event and this allowed 14 tables to take part in the table quiz.
There were 10 special bonus prizes consisting of meat vouchers from Magills Meats with each individual member of the winning table receiving £20 voucher from Tescos.All p[resent received a box of chocolates and were entertained to a midday buffet lunch provided by the catering staff of the All Saints Parish Centre.It was great to see participants from Ballykeel,Harryville,Ballee Dunclug,Cullybackey all participating in the quiz.Colum Best project manager with the Dunclug Partnership stated the morning was such a success and built on the already good relations that exists between various groups and areas within the Ballymena Borough.
